Skælskør brewery Pilot plant Lutz bottling flow meter

In 2015, Copenhagen Pump was contacted by a brewery for a solution for a pilot plant of beverage products in 200 ml, 500 ml and 20 l bottles. As the task of the pilot plant is to test different products, this means that the rheological properties are very different from task to task. In consultation with the customer, we chose a solution based on the Lutz B70 hygienic model, which can pump liquid in a viscosity range from 1 mPas to 10,000 mPas. The accurate measurement requires calibration when changing product and in some cases dispensing volume. Lutz batch controllers perform this calibration with the built-in adjustable calibration factor, post flow adjustment and recipe management.
