Greenland Arctic design Imo T4 unit Ace 038 NTBP and Lutz HDO batch control

Arctic design Greenland low temperature -40 C Imo T4 Filter pump system with double pumps for fuel oil as well as flow measurement and volume bottling for day tank.

For a project in Greenland, Copenhagen Pump was contacted for a Pump solution. Diesel/Gas oil had to be retrieved from large exterior storage tanks and pumped in measured capacities for day tanks. The challenge is that winter temperatures can go down very far and we had to consider Arctic design criteria despite indoor installation.
We chose a solution based on Imo's T4 unit, which consists of a filter unit with dual fuel filters double pumps, switch valves for cleaning filter inserts and an instrument package.
In addition, we supplied a flow meter from LUTZ with quantity preselection. The system works by entering a preselection on a display on the flow meter. After this, a relay module ensures the start and stop of the pump and the closure of valves.
