Løvens, low temperature -50 C pumping of thermal oil

Copenhagen Pump was contacted in connection with a plant audit of a low-temperature plant with liquid pumping down below -50 C. For this purpose, a special cooling oil used in the manufacture of medico is used. The molecular size of the thermal oil is ultra low and sealing static gaskets is often not without problems. Sealing elements such as oringe and gaskets typically do not tolerate separation in the lead with revision and should therefore always be replaced and tightened in connection with start-up and cooling.
For several years we have solved the task with a magnet-coupled pump from Green Pump to various medico companies, as the pump has proven to be really hardy in this application. For energy reasons, the pump and piping system are encapsulated.
