Lion's, low temperature -50 C pumping thermal oil

Copenhagen Pump was contacted in connection with a plant audit of a low-temperature plant with liquid pumping below -50 C. For this purpose, a special cooling oil is used in connection with medical manufacturing. The molecular size of the thermal oil is ultra low and sealing static gaskets is often not without problems. Sealing elements such as orings and gaskets typically cannot withstand disassembly during overhaul and should always be replaced and tightened during start-up and cool-down.
For several years, we have solved the task with a magnetically coupled pump from Green Pump for various medical companies, as the pump has proven to be really tough in this application. For energy reasons, the pump and piping system are encapsulated.
