Allweiler progressive cavity metering pumps type ADP and ADBP are designed for metering both low and high viscosity media.

Progressing cavity pump technology offers some advantages when it comes to dosing. It does not pulsate, which is often a problem with dosing pumps based on piston or hose pump technology. It also has no valves, making it suitable for dispensing highly viscous and sticky liquids. (Valve-based dosing pumps often have problems with sticky products).

The progressive cavity design principle has no suction stroke or dead volume and is therefore very accurate to regulate, the pump can be combined with an encoder/pulse sampler and a Lutz Batch Controller for draining, adjustment and flow measurement.

Applications: Chocolate, sugar, syrups, creams, vitamins, oils, emulsifiers, polymer dosing, dyes, flavors, chemicals, glues, etc.
