For liquids that need to be mixed before treatment and then pumped, or that contain small solids. The new DDP mixing system, with an integrated air-operated double-acting diaphragm pump developed by Lutz, is the perfect solution in many cases.
The mixing and pumping process is done via a suction and mixing tube and a 3-way ball valve. The pre-assembled system is immediately ready for use with a few simple steps and is also suitable for explosive liquids as the pump is Atex approved.
The benefits are convincing in daily practice:
A compressed air driven ½" double-acting diaphragm pump made of stainless steel (1.4404) acts as the pump unit and is mounted on a base plate. Using a universal chemical hose, a wide range of liquids can be pumped. For example, paints and varnishes, emulsions, dispersions, suspensions, water/oil mixtures and liquids with increased viscosity and solids content.
The following technical values are achieved during operation:
The total weight of the system (including pump) is 21 kg. The suction and mixing tube can be quickly and easily inserted into the inlet hole while the base plate is securely attached to the hopper lid via vibration dampers.
Additional accessories can be selected from the large Lutz range. The new DDP mixing system from Lutz Pumpen is another complete solution from Lutz and Copenhagen Pump.
