For liquids that need to be mixed before treatment and then pumped, or that contain small solids. The new DDP mixing system, with an integrated air driven double acting diaphragm pump, has been developed by Lutz and is the perfect solution in many cases.
The mixing and pumping process is carried out via a suction and mixing tube and a 3-way ball valve. The pre-assembled system is immediately ready for use with a few simple steps and is also suitable for explosive liquids as the pump is Atex approved.
The benefits are convincing in daily practice:
A compressed air-powered 1/2" double-acting membrane pump made of stainless steel (1.4404) acts as a pumping unit and is mounted on a base plate. With the help of a universal chemistry hose, a wide range of liquids can be pumped. For example, paints and varnishes, emulsions, dispersions, suspensions, water/oil mixtures, as well as liquids with increased viscosity and solids content.
The following technical values are obtained during operation:
The total weight of the system (including pump) is 21 kg. The suction and mixing tube can be quickly and easily inserted into the inlet hole while the base plate is securely attached to the container lid via vibration dampers.
Additional accessories can be selected from the large Lutz range. The new DDP mixing system from Lutz Pumpen is an additional complete solution from Lutz and Copenhagen Pump.
