Self-priming Pump Well Hydraulic analysis, design and commissioning.

In connection with a major rebuilding of a chemical plant, Thorbjørn Schrøder provided engineering assistance in relation to mechanical, hydraulic and automation design of a self-priming pump well. The project is equipped with non-self-priming pumps. We have exclusively provided engineering and project management for this project. The pump well works level-controlled according to the start/stop principle, following a signal from an ultrasonic transmitter. The special feature of the system is that it uses a rod pump without shaft seals, which is made self-priming by controlled priming.
